Marsworth, Near Tring

 

I took a trip to Marsworth to meet a friend back in August and the weather was rubbish.

We walked along the canal, which was very pleasant, it does split and there are much longer walks, but we cut back around, and found the lakes.

The lakes would look fabulous in the sunshine, but not so good on a grey day really.

We followed up with a lovely lunch at the Waters Edge it is like sitting someone's back garden.  I would say that although it is called the Waters Edge - you wouldn't know as it is completely enclosed by planting.

Menu isn't vast but we had Croque Monsieur, followed by cake - and it went down a treat.  Should have taken photos!
