I have visited the tea rooms twice in recent months, the first time I had a nice light lunch, and the second I just sat in the garden in the sunshine with a pot of tea. by the time we left at midday it was quite busy.
They have cakes and lunches, a reasonable choice and prices are good. It is only about 15/20 minutes from Ampthill, not far from Shefford. You can go via Shefford or Ireland.
I have not found a walk in the area, or somewhere interesting to visit. I had been to Savins which has a great range of cut flowers and various items for flower arrangers, minimum spend of £25.
There are bike racks......
